It isn’t glamorous but flyer designs, posters etc are all part of the graphic design world.
What I hate is graphic designers who put so much effort into making something that looks amazing that they forget the core reasons for its existence. It is a sales tool. If you can’t absorb the information of a flyer within a second or two then it has failed as a sales tool.
This is where the balance of graphic design and marketing makes me so successful with my existing customers. Because we drill down to what the message is and figure out the best way to get that information into the head of the potential customer.
